China K Visa Overview
The China K visa is a new visa category (effective October 1, 2025) created to attract young foreign STEM talent to China.
It is aimed at graduates and early-career professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and is designed to be more flexible than traditional work or business visas.
In most cases, no domestic employer sponsorship or invitation letter is required, subject to age, education and experience criteria set by authorities.
